The Wolf, by Tom Neely

The Wolf is one of the best books I’ve seen in a year.

Here’s a book trailer that doesn’t do it justice, but is good nevertheless (muting the sound is okay, there’s no voiceover to miss)

The author and artist of The Wolf, Tom Neely, is selling The Wolf and many other fine publications at the LA Art Book Fair this weekend in the Zine Room right side appendix. It’s hard to explain, but I’ll try: when you go into the Zine Room, head for the wall in front of you and turn right when you get there. Then turn right again and walk to the next wall in front of you (either a small or tiny walk, depending on where you entered the Zine Room), then look behind you and slightly to the left, and there’s Tom’s table. If the outside front roll-up door is open, then that’s lucky, because that’s where Tom is. Yes, complicated, and a map would help, but there isn’t one, alas. Anyway. If you can get to the fair today or tomorrow, it’s totally worth the effort. If you can’t get to the fair, then have a look at Tom’s work at his site, and get a copy of The Wolf. You’ll be glad you did!
