Post’s Rick Weiss covered it and cites fears by opponents of ‘rogue scientists’ producing ‘weird human-animal creatures’ and has a Brit spokesperson replying nope, it will go ahead only under caution and careful scrutiny. The aim is to find an efficient way to make human embryonic stem cells. Some, no doubt, are out there rooting for the weird human-animal creatures. Might not they have rights, too?”

I think this might be less sensational than it sounds. But it sounds pretty sensational. But if such beings could survive longer than a few days…what does that mean for all of us?
