LA needs more mini-parks like this

Or even some mini-parks like this:

“The entrance seems ordinary enough, though beautifully groomed — but soon you are in a land of the bizarre delights. As the BART trains scream by overhead, you notice strange figures among the greenery.” (cool pictures, go look)

C’mon, Parks and Rec, stop making us look bad (compared to SF). I mean, why can’t we have more freeway parks? God knows we have enough freeways. (And why doesn’t my council member, the fabulous Ed Reyes, have a cool blog like Eric Garcetti? No mini-parks, no freeway parks, no blog; c’mon Ed, we’re No. 1! Aren’t we?)
